I'm a Production Designer and Painter formed in Italy and now based here in the United States. In the last 5 years, I've designed fourteen feature films, numerous music videos, commercials and several fashion events.  I've been very lucky to work with and develop close professional relationships with some of the most dynamic independent and award winning producers, directors and cinematographers in the Los Angeles area.

I think very much about how best to interpret a screenplay visually. Pushing and showing through this creative process, alongside the director and the director of photography, a film starts to become its own thing. I'll use any tool I can get my hands on to visually-tell a story well, and deny myself all the others. And I believe the utmost emotion and connection a Production Designer can create with an audience come with an active research and reinterpretation of every details that compose the environment that surrounds the character. This step represents to me the first and most important leap into a story's visual interpretation, this continue elaboration is what gives a magical touch to the Production Design.

My first foray into film and art began as an infant. I drew the luck of being born into a family who loved art in all of its dimensions, and who put it at the center of their family existence. They fed the young, impressionable me with trips, stories and legends about painting, film, drawing, sculpture and literature. As an older boy, I began drawing, a medium that would become my first hands on experience in art. This passion quickly developed into an enormous love for painting and, in fact, a love for almost all types of visual art.
I've continued my passion for art in school and pursued a study that would solidify my early artistic foundations, understanding that I needed to gain technical expertise in order to move forward. I began art history and technique studies in 1996 at Liceo Artistico High School of Pescara, “Giuseppe Misticoni”. In 2002 I moved to Rome to continue my pursuits at the University of Rome, “La Sapienza”. Here at the university is where I've advanced my interests in Cinema, Television and Visual Media. During this time, I was honored by the university and asked to attend the exclusive, private Digital Movie Designer Program at the Digital Desk Factory. This specially designed program gave me the valuable tools, knowledge and experience required to begin immediately applying my skills in the workforce. In 2004, the information technology firm VASMINE SPA hired me as a Digital Video Creator. In this position, I was responsible for the ‘video-stories’ for the entire region of Lazio. This unique and creative position allowed me to develop new theories and ideas regarding ‘concept’ and distinct approaches in visual entertainment. While working with Vasmine Spa I've completed my studies with a strong focus on the relationship between the field of human computer interaction and movies, design and digital media.
In 2006, I decided to move to Los Angeles to attend the Los Angeles Film School where he majored in Production Design. One week before graduation I was already hired as the Production Designer for a low budget Thriller feature film. Since my first production design project upon graduation, I never took a day off. This is not only a source of pride, but a testament to my unfettered passion.

I always kept up the notion that this is only the beginning of my life. I'm known to say that I can ‘feel the luck in my veins for being given the opportunity to continue and expand my infinite passion in researching, conceptualizing, drawing and giving a cinematic meaning to my works, through the multiple facets of Production Design.
